Republic Services to do carbon monoxide testing at Bridgeton North Quarry per Court Agreement on January 17, 2014

Attached is the court agreement from today stating that Republic Services must provide the State of Missouri with carbon monoxide data in February, April and June in the north quarry and in the neck of the landfill between the north and south quarry. This is important information that Todd Thalhamer, DNR’s independent landfill fire expert, told the community at a public meeting last summer that is very important for identifying where landfill fires are present.

Thanks to Attorney General Chris Koster and the Pattonville Fire Protection District for making sure that this information is provided to the public.
